· Expedition Peak Lenin - 2008

For those participants of our expedition Peak Lenin-2008, who bought "Standard" Package or "Full Service" one, in accordance with the Outline Itinerary, CAA will provide:

IN OSH

- two breakfasts

- two lunchs

- two dinners

ON THE WAY BETWEEN OSH AND BASE CAMP

- two lunchs at the Kurtuk-ata teahouse

AT BASE CAMP

- seven breakfasts

- four lunchs

- seven dinners

AT CAMP-1

- six breakfasts

- two lunchs

- six dinners

IN BISHKEK

- One breakfast before departure back to Europe if departure time allows it


Let's scrutinize the outline itinerary in order to know exactly what the meals will be brovided by CAA. We cut those days when meals provided by CAA are not necessary.

DAY 1 (Sunday). Early AM arrival in Bishkek. Meeting with our local representative who is to bring airtickets Bishkek-Osh. At 9 AM - flight to Osh. Meeting with our local representative and transfer to the guest house of Central Asia Adventures (CAA). Accommodation in double rooms. Free time.

Lunch-1/at CAA Guesthouse in Osh, Dinner-1/at CAA Guesthouse in Osh

DAY 2. Transfer with a 4WD minivan to the base camp in the Achik-tash Valley, 280 km., 8-10 hours. Stop for lunch at the Kurtuk-Ata teahouse 140 km from Osh. On the way we are to cross pass Taldyk, 3600 m. Coming to Base Camp (the elevation of the place - 3500 m.). Accommodation in double tents. Dinner at the mess-tent.

DAY 3. Free time at base camp.

DAY 4. Base Camp - Camp 1, 4200 m. Accommodation in double tents of CAA. Dinner at the mess-tent of Camp-1.

Breakfast-2/at Base Camp, Dinner-1/at Camp-1 (4300 m.)

DAY 5. Camp 1 - Camp 2 (5300 m.), in order to drop there the stuff necessary for the further ascent. Setting Camp 2 and return to Camp 1.

Breakfast-1/at Camp-1 (4300 m.), Dinner-2/at Camp-1 (4300 m.)

DAY 6. Free time at Camp-1.

Breakfast-2/at Camp-1 (4300 m.), Lunch-1/at Camp-1 (4300 m.), Dinner-3/at Camp-1 (4300 m.)

DAY 7. Free time at Camp-1.

Breakfast-3/at Camp-1 (4300 m.), Lunch-2/at Camp-1 (4300 m.), Dinner-4/at Camp-1 (4300 m.)

DAY 8. Camp 1 - Camp 2. Overnight in tents at Camp 2.

B-4/at Camp-1 (4300 m.)

DAY 10. Camp 2 - Base Camp.

Lunch-3/at Camp-1 (4300 m.), Dinner-3/at Base camp

DAY 11. Free time at Base Camp.

Breakfast-3/at Base camp, Lunch-2/at Base camp, Dinner-4/at Base camp

DAY 12. Free time at Base Camp.

Breakfast-4/at Base camp, Lunch-3/at Base camp, Dinner-5/at Base camp

DAY 13. Base Camp - Camp 1.

Breakfast-5/at Base camp, Dinner-5/at Camp-1 (4300 m.)

DAY 14. Camp 1 - Camp 2.

DAY 17. Camp 3 - Camp 1.

Dinner-6/at Camp-1 (4300 m.)

DAY 18. Camp 1 - Base Camp.

Breakfast-6/at Camp-1 (4300 m.), Dinner-6/at Base camp

DAY 19. Free time at Base Camp (the 1st reserve day).

Breakfast-6/at Base camp , Lunch-4/at Base camp , Dinner-7/at Base camp

DAY 20. Transfer by a 4wd minivan Base Camp – Osh (the 2d reserve day). Accommodation in double rooms at the guest house.

Breakfast-7/at Base camp , Lunch-2/at the Kurtuk Ata Teahouse (140 km. from Osh), Dinner-2/at CAA Guesthouse in Osh

DAY 21. AM. Osh sightseeing tour (the 3d reserve day). At 6 PM – latest flight to Bishkek. Double room accommodation with B at the guesthouse in Bishkek. Free time.

Breakfast-2/at CAA Guesthouse in Osh, L-2/at CAA Guesthouse in Osh

DAY 22 (Sunday). Early AM. Transfer to airport. Departure.

Breakfast-1/at the guesthouse in Bishkek (if it is not too early).
